About Mulberry, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Mulberry, Indiana is a small Clinton County, Illinois town. Named for a local mulberry tree, this community is home to nearly 1,300 residents. Mulberry was laid out in 1858, and at the time, it was mistakenly given the name of Glicksburg. The region grew with the construction of the Lafayette, Muncie, and Bloomington Railroad in 1873, although the railroad’s prominence eventually declined throughout the years.

Mulberry is a small community, so there aren’t many major attractions located in the area. Each June, the community hosts Mulberry Fest, and this event features a car show, craft booths, music, and food. Visitors might like to check out the local treasures at Holcombe’s Antiques, while other shopping destinations here include a CVS Pharmacy and a Nexcom. Many residents attend Sunday services at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, while parents might let their kids burn off some steam at the Mulberry Centennial Park. There are also several restaurants in Mulberry, some of which include Pizza King of Mulberry and the Southfork Restaurant and Pub.

The weather in Mulberry is part of a humid continental zone and features relatively high summer temperatures. During this season, highs in July reach the upper-80s, on average, although thermostat readings into the 90s are also common. Without access to a central air conditioner at home, these conditions could become dangerous. At the very least, these high temperatures can lead to some uncomfortable indoor conditions, and the right climate controls can make the season feel more bearable.

Winters in Mulberry are cold, and daily highs throughout the peak of the season only reach the upper-30s. Snowfall tends to stay low, but overnight temperatures can fall well below freezing. It is crucial that Mulberry residents invest in the right furnace system, because even without significant precipitation, dangerous conditions can result in the winter.
