About Earl Park, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Benton County’s Richland Township, Earl Park is a small Indiana town with about 350 residents. It is found within the Lafayette, IN Metro Statistical Area, and the Upper Sugar Creek flows through the area just north and west of the community. Earl Park was laid out in 1872 and was named for Adams Earl, a major promoter of the Big Four railway that ran form Lafayette to Kankakee. Earl Park is home to one of the first major wind farms in the state, the Benton County Wind Farm, and it was also the birthplace of Matilde E. Moisant, one of the first women in the U.S. to earn a pilot’s license.

Earl Park is home to one of the county’s most popular annual events – the Earl Park Fall Fest. Held over Labor Day weekend, this event attracts thousands of people who are eager to check out the carnival, flea market, tractor pull, demolition derby, and Blue Grass musicians. Games and activities for kids are also available.

The climate in Earl Park is part of a humid continental zone with varied seasons. In the summer, residents are used to hot and humid conditions and often rely on their central air conditioners to stay cool. High temperatures average in the mid-80s, but 90 degree days are also common. The right climate control system will keep indoor conditions cool while also ensuring that utility costs stay affordable throughout the season.

The autumn and spring seasons in Earl Park are typically pleasant with less humidity, although severe storms are possible. These seasons will book-end a cold winter where daytime highs average in the low-30s. Temperatures often fall below the freezing point overnight, resulting in dangerous conditions both indoors and outdoors. A gas or electric furnace is an important investment, and Earl Park area HVAC technicians can help area residents to select the right system.
