About Battle Ground, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Tippecanoe County, Battle Ground, Indiana is a small city with just over 1,300 residents. It can be found near the location of the Battle of Tippecanoe, an 1811 fight between American forces led by William Henry Harrison and Native American warriors led by Tecumseh. The Tippecanoe Battlefield Monument was erected to honor this event and the soldiers who were lost, and it serves as a main focal point in the community.

There are a variety of interesting things to see and do in Battle Ground, despite the city’s small size. Battle Lake State Park is a great place to enjoy the great outdoors, and local equestrians enjoy bringing their horses to ride the trails. Lewisville Park is also found in Battle Ground, offering a great place to have a picnic or to take a scenic stroll. Wine enthusiasts will love a trip to Battle Ground, as there are many unique wineries located here, including the Rusty Grape Vineyard, Dolio Winery, Heisen House Vineyard, and Emanar Cellars.

Battle Ground area residents will enjoy four distinct seasons throughout the year, with warmer temperatures than other parts of the Midwest. During the summer, daytime highs can reach well into the 80s, but high humidity can take a toll. The right central air conditioner is a necessity to stay safe and comfortable throughout the season. It is also recommended that Battle Ground residents take the mild and pleasant spring months to service these systems. This way, an HVAC technician can ensure they will work properly when needed.

Winters in Battle Ground are variable in terms of snowfall, but temperatures tend to average in the 30s. Overnight lows fall well below freezing – sometimes below zero – so residents will need to invest in a gas or electric furnace. High AFUE-rated systems will keep indoor conditions comfortable while also lowering monthly utility costs.
